Film status:

The Naxis' Dongba Culture, comprising five parts and ten episodes. Each episode is 30 minutes in length and can serve as a standalonoe piece. This documentary is about the current situation of the development of the Naxi ethnic people's Doongba culture and its struggle for survival. It explores touching stories of the people's desperate efforts to rescue and carry on their endangered ethnic culture. Such a documentary series constitutes a fresh approach in Yunnan Province.
