Synopsis: In a remote mountainous area of Guangxi, the horse is the only means of reaching the outside world. For thousands of years indigenous women, the so called “Horse Ladies”, and their horses have carried cargo for people to earn a living. Now the construction of roads has made the place more accessible, but the lifestyle of the horse lady is not as smooth as it once was.
