Synopsis:


    Elks Chinese one and only species , are the first level protection animals in China . By the end of them 19th century , elk died out in the area of china. Only 18 of them survived , and were migrated to Europe with the assistance of Duck Befut the Eleventh .The species did not return to china until 1985, one century after their migration.

    In 1993 64 were moved from Beijing Elk Garden to Swan Inlet, an Elk Natural Reservation District in Hubei Province During the following years, the tame elks bred into 150, and became the closest ones to the wild nature in the world.

    In 1998, the biggest flood of this century broke out in the Yangtze River . Swan Inlet was badly demolished . Almost 40 elks ran away. The elk keepers took many ways to search them and help them come back. And, at the same time, the keepers found a newborn elk, and took in home. They named it jiaojiao. When the winter approached, some lost elks in Swan Inlet. Jiaojiao also got stronger under the care of the keepers. The elks in Swan Inlet have a calm home again.

     his documentary tells people that there in still a long way to protect wild animals and environments.
